Botanical Garden
Belgrade is one of the few cities in the world that is fortunate to have a botanical garden located right in the center of the city. Not far from Tašmajdan Park is the Botanical Garden Jevremovac which has been in this place since the 19th century. Among more than 150 species of plants from various parts of the world, there is also the famous Pančić spruce (or “Ice beauty” as it is also called) which apparently finds the climate, of not so mountainous Belgrade, very pleasant.
At the botanical garden, you will also feel the spirit of Japan in a specially arranged Japanese garden, which is exactly made according to characteristics of this country – combination of stone, wood, grass and water. Special attraction is a beautiful greenhouse with exotic plants. Botanical garden also hosts various events which are organized several times a year, which bring people together who share their love for quality music, food and wine.
