Ada Ciganlija
This "Belgrade Sea" has been declared one of the three most beautiful urban islands in the world! Ada Ciganlija is a favourite picnic spot for Belgraders, but it is also a place where you can practice sports - swimming, water-skiing, football, volleyball, basketball, golf, mini-golf, paddling, cycling and rollerblading are just some of the activities on offer.
Ada Ciganlija is also beautiful in winter, when after outdoor ice skating you can warm up in one of the many restaurants and cafes on both sides of Sava lake - which is one of the cleanest in Europe.
Bicycle rental at Ada
One of the most beautiful ways to get to know Belgrade is to get on a bike and take a breezy tour. What would make this activity amazing is to take the asphalt path that goes between the forest and the lake. That’s what you can expect when you rent a bike at Ada Ciganlija. There are three info stands which are available for you – the first two are at the entrance on both sides of the lake, and the third stand you will find in the middle of the lake, on Makiš side. Minigolf on Ada
One of the activities waiting for you at Ada Ciganlija is minigolf. To play minigolf you don’t have to be very fit, you don’t need any special wardrobe nor equipment – you will get it at the minigolf course, located at the beginning of the New Belgrade side of Ada. Bring only good energy and try your luck on a total of 18 tracks with easier and more complicated obstacles. You will be able to win them all with enough patience and steady hands.
The minigolf course is closed only when there is rain and snow, but on all other days you are welcome from 10 am to 9 pm. For more details see here.
